732 is the last full stage in New Brunswick, and looking over the horizon into Nova Scotia lies Halifax and the journey’s end in North America. Although this is factually a downhill stage, it rides like a climber. The majority of the undulations are up, but the balance it tipped by two descents, one just before halfway and one just before the end. The stage starts off east of Moncton near the airport but soon starts heading south east which remains the tack for the duration of the stage.
The rollout is flat for four miles on a curving right hander that crosses over Highway 132 at three miles before climbing gently to five miles ahead of the first steep descent to the Memramcook River at eight miles. As the river flows south through Memramcook into Shepody Bay, the road loosely follows it, but deviates away east from twelve miles onwards.
After the river crossing, the road climbs to Highway 933 at eleven miles where three more streams flow under the road ahead of a short, steep climb to a left/right combo that sets up a long straight slog of a climb from fifteen miles to the highest point on the stage at Tantramar Outdoor Club after twenty miles. The trails at Tantramar are west of Silver Lake which itself is situated north of Middle Sackville with Sackville itself another mile south of there. As the road descends steeply off the summit, it curves around the western side of the lake, straightening up just before the finish in Sackville town centre.
