Now clear of Paris, the stage kicks off in the picturesque town of Survilliers, just a few miles north of Charles De Gaulle airport and the town of Louvres. The route heads north east loosley following the route of the L’Oise river which is flowing south east in the opposite direction. It flows into the River Seine in north western Paris.
The rollout heads north and gently downhill to La Chapelle en Serval after two miles where the route curves right as it descends to Pontarme where the road crosses the La Theve river. The next major port of call is Senlis at seven miles, by which time the route has completed the steepest climb of the stage and reached its highest point. At Senlism the highway crosses the La Nonette river at eight miles before descending to cross the L’Aunette river a mile later, near rthe Parc ecologique de Bon Secours.
Ther road cruves right after the river and crosses the main D1330 autoroute shortly after. Then its flat for a short while between La Plessis Chamant on the left and Chamant on the right before a left/right shimmy bypasses Ognon and takes the route into La Roue Qui Tourne at twelve miles. The terrain then flattens out, passing by Yvillers at fourteen miles and Villeneuve sur Verberie a mile later before hanging a looping left hander to the hairpin west of Saint Vaast de Longmont after eighteen miles. The switchback takes the road down a steep descent into Saint Vaast de Longmont by the Chateau de Cappy where the route swings left (north) into Verberie at nineteen miles.
The road runs alongside the L’Oise river for a short while on the northern side of Verberie before heading out of town on the Avenue Rene et Pierre Firmin. The stage finishes at the picturesque water park at the Park Nautic de Verberie.
